Number 255 was the title of a waitress employed in the Village's Cat and Mouse pub. The character appeared in the 1967-68 British television series The Prisoner, in its fourth episode "Free for All" and was portrayed by actress Holly Doone.

During his electoral campaign for the position of Number 2, an entranced Number 6 visits the Cat and Mouse pub, where to his frustration, he is offered non-alcoholic gin, whiskey or vodka by Number 255. After she repeats herself for the second time he yells at her and she flees.
